Introduction
“We cannot choose not to communicate. We can only choose what message we communicate”. Unconsciously, we are communicating messages all the time, in the language we choose, our tone of voice, our personal appearance and non-verbal behaviours, in the priorities we give importance to. And this is what we call impact.
This programme highlights our “unconscious messages” – and the way we interpret the unconscious messages of others – so we can have more choice and more control over what we decide to communicate.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this programme, delegates will be able to:
describe the different personal communication channels which together wake up “impact”;
assess their personal impact on others in a range of environments and situations;
choose what impact they want, and take action to achieve it;
analyse the personal impact of others, sort conscious from unconscious messages, decide whether or not to take action.
