Introduction
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) has its roots in the work of two people, John Grinder and Richard Bandler. Whilst connected with the work of the University of Santa Cruz in the 70's they sought the answer to the question, "What is it that makes some people excel above others in their professions?" This question set them on a course to determine the structure of human subjective experience.
Put simply, what drives some of our behaviours, how can we do things differently to achieve our outcomes and how can we copy excellence in any field. NLP is not psychology or psychoanalysis: it is the practical application of what works in managing ourselves and our interactions with others.
As a result of the successes that individuals have gained through NLP, it has attracted increasing attention from all walks of life and latterly, in particular, the business world. This programme will give you a taste of some of the key aspects of NLP and will enable you to make a decision about going on to full Practitioner training, or to a further programme about specific applications of NLP.
