Introduction
When Neuro Linguistic Programming was first introduced as a concept for achieving excellence it was very much hailed as an adjunct to the province of counselling. Twenty-six years later it has rightly moved into a much wider arena and has been increasingly acknowledged as vitally important to achieving business excellence for professionals and for the organisations in which they operate.

Learning Outcomes
On successful attendance and completion of the full ten days programme, participants will be able to:

  • Set themselves and others powerful outcomes
  • Establish an instant form of rapport with anyone
  • Use all their senses to gather vital information
  • Analyse hidden agendas and unconscious barriers in communication
  • Apply a model of thinking to tap into their own mental blocks
  • Interpret the unconscious use of language
  • Use language to achieve outcomes with integrity
  • Apply the concept of psycho-geographical timelines
  • Establish and change beliefs that currently limit their performance
  • Apply a process to enable the replication of new skills and attitudes

Programme Content
Days 1 & 2: the basic structure of NLP & the structure of learning; the four pillars of NLP as applied to business practices; the power of our beliefs; how they affect our learning; identifying those that have passed their sell-by date and adopting new ones.

Days 3 & 4: the structure of thinking: preferences for internally representing experience and how to change if it is blocking progress; how to manage emotions rather than be at the mercy of them; how to really put yourself in someone else’s shoes in order to achieve mutual outcomes.

Days 5 & 6: the structure of language: how deep-seated beliefs are expressed in the words we use; how to recognise this in others and uncover the real meaning behind the words; how to use influencing language to achieve mutual outcomes. On Day 6 there will be an interim assessment.

Days 7 & 8: the structure of being: human software, what makes us tick; how we are selective in the information we take in and retain; what drives our actions and how to establish this in others; mediating in conflict situations; the process of learning from those who have skills we desire; programme revision and review.

Days 9 & 10: integration and assessment: putting it all together and applying the wisdom of NLP to achieve personal and organisational excellence.

The final assessment to be performed by John Seymour of John Seymour Associates.

There will be a realistic amount of between session written work, the completion of which will form part of the final assessment
