Introduction
A key skill in developing effective and successful working relationships is to be able to behave assertively without being overtaken by inappropriate emotional responses. We all risk falling into the negative traps of submissiveness at one end of the scale and aggression at the other. Each of these leaves us in a negative position and almost always precludes win – win.
This programme gives people the powerful and positive option of assertiveness and the skills to use it wisely. The ability to be assertive is key to effective human interaction at all levels and in all situations.
