Introduction
European and UK law, as well as company policy, calls for equality and fair treatment of all. It is at the very least illegal to discriminate against people on grounds of race, sex, religion or disability. This means not only must we treat people fairly but we must be seen to treat people fairly. Avoiding discrimination is something of a double negative - the real benefit to everyone concerned, including the company, is in valuing difference and diversity.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the programme, participants will be able to:
Explain the key issues of equal opportunity as laid out in law and company policy
Identify assumptions based on stereotypes and prejudice in themselves and others

Programme Content
