Introduction
Current and forthcoming legislation increasingly place responsibility on all managers to ensure they deal fairly with disciplinary issues, following clear and appropriate procedures and acting within the precepts of best practice. This one-day programme is a focussed excerpt from the wider MaSh programme "Employment Law" and is designed to give managers the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to apply their organisation's disciplinary procedures.

Programme Content
The programme challenges participants to consider why, when and how people under-perform and ultimately what counts as a disciplinary issue. The content covers a strong element of the legal implications and in particular the issue of unfair and constructive dismissal. Participant practice includes managing the disciplinary procedure from start to finish and running the actual interview
