  • Explain company attendance standards to persistent absentees
  • Conduct the "return to work interview"
  • Complete any formal documentation
  • Take further action following absence interviews if and as required

Programme Content
Participants define absence and absenteeism and consider the implications of sickness, stress and other reasons. The programme covers the law on absence, the legal concept of "fairness" and includes appropriate organisational guidelines and procedures. Absence, return-to-work interviews and procedures complete the programme.
